A necklace and pairs of earrings made from guitar picks bent with a hairdryer and handcrafted bead balls. This set of jewelry was a part of Madison Avenue’s “Obsessorize: Common Objects Uncommon Accessories” exhibition in the fall of 2018 and SVA Gramercy Gallery’s “Obsessorize” exhibition in the spring of 2019. The jewelry is inspired by the transitional music scene of America in the 1940s, an ease into rock ‘n’ roll with the introduction of the guitar.
